David & Goliath – Interactive Bible Stories is a dynamic picture storybook for Mac. Clicking on objects in the illustrations causes the objects to move or change or make a sound.

Each Interactive Bible Stories app includes two short books. Our David & Goliath app contains the Bible story and a story set in the present day called “Saying No”. All our Bible stories are based on the actual Biblical accounts of events and include Bible verses for reference.

Children of all ages will enjoy exploring this app. It’s like a high-tech pop-up book!

How to use:

You can use the mouse/trackpad to point and click on things - feel free to explore!

You can also use the keyboard. If using the keyboard:
- use the tab key or shift+tab to focus on different elements (i.e. buttons/objects), then press the enter key to "click" on the focused item
- use the number keys (0-9) to initiate different actions; these vary depending on which part of the app you`re in - feel free to experiment to find out what can all happen on each scene!
- on the main menu (the first view you see when the app launches) you can press the "1" key to launch the first book (bible story) or press the "2" key to launch the second book (the story set in the present day).
- when viewing any scene in a book, pressing the left or right arrow keys will turn the page, pressing the up/down arrows will hide/show the story text, and spacebar will start and stop the story audio playback
- when viewing the bible story book, you can press the down arrow key to view the story text, then press the "b" letter key to view the bible text for that scene. When viewing the bible text, pressing spacebar will start/stop the bible audio playback
