MP3 Normalizer improves quality of MP3 files. It amplifies too quiet audio and decreases volume of too loud files or their parts automatically. It also smoothes sound peaks and clicks in MP3 tracks.


MP3 NORMALIZER IS AN IDEAL OPTION FOR:

• amplifying too quiet voice records (like lectures)
• flatting accidental clicks and loud noise in audio records
• improving sound of older music records or poor quality records
• adjusting sound of too quiet music
• aligning volume of voices and imposed sounds in extracted from movies audio

There are just some common cases of using MP3 Normalizer. However, you can apply it for much wider range of purposes.


INPUT FORMATS

MP3 Normalizer accepts .mp3 and .wav files. As an output you will have new MP3 file with adjusted volume level.

Please, note, that if you would like to normalize media files of another formats you have to convert them to MP3 first. We recommend using our “To MP3 Converter” for this purpose.


EASY AS ONE, TWO ...

To normalize your MP3 files you have just drop them in application icon or window. The application will let you know when volume adjusting is done. MP3 Normalizer supports batch processing so you can process single file or the whole tree of folders in one time.


SETTINGS CUSTOMISATION

You will be able to control:

• Normalization method
Choose between Peak normalization and Loudness normalization.
If you are not sure which method is better, we recommend “Automatic selection of method” option. In such case, the application will analyse every audio track and select the most suitable normalization method automatically.

• Target level
You can specify how loud, in percents, the volume of output audio should be.

• Destination folder for normalized audio

• Characteristics of normalized MP3 files:

- Constant Bitrate
The value of Constant Bitrate is ‘As Source’ by default. Alternatively, you can choose preferred Constant Bitrate from 8 to 320 kbps. *

- Variable Bitrate
A range of bitrates from 8 to 320 kbps can be specified. *

- Channel Mode between Stereo / Joint / Dual / Mono.
The value of Channel Mode is ‘As Source’ by default.

- Switch On or Off Support of CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Checks) for better error protection.

- Adjustable quality for faster normalization.

*Note, we recommend set Bitrate at 128 or lower number if you are going to burn MP3 files to CD and use it in your car. Many CD car players may not playback MP3 files with Bitrates higher than 128 kbps.
