BluScenes Coral Reef Aquarium HD 1.0

Introducing an Aquarium app with true High Definition video, featuring long scenes and seamless looping.

The cinematographers at BluScenes combined the renowned coral reef tanks of Advanced Aquarist and Senior Editor of Reefs Magazine, Randy Donowitz, with the crystal-clear image quality of the RED One™ 4k camera to create the ultimate Coral Reef Aquarium experience for Mac. We did not merely transfer our award-winning Blu-ray discs. We went back to the 4K source files and created a new version specifically color-graded to the Mac`s unique gamma settings.

Featuring three unique and colorful aquarium tanks, teeming with amazing fish dancing before a canvas of living coral. You can seamlessly loop each tank while listening to the soothing hum of the aquarium filter.

You can view each tank in full screen mode, at 100% resolution or at 50% scaled down size. Use the preferences to change tanks, or simply use the left/right arrows to switch to a different view.

This app is anamorphic. It will fill any screen with a fishtank without stretching or causing black bars.

**Please note: The High Definition scenes contained in this application are rather large (1.69 GB). A high speed connection is definitely recommended. If you would like to install these fish tanks as a screensaver under system preferences (something not permitted in the app store), please contact us at mac@sceniclabs.com for instructions.

To those commenting about our use of 720p (we offer our Blu-ray discs in 1080p), the video files are offered here in 720p (not 1080p) for the following reasons:

1) Extensive testing showed that most Macs could not play this video smoothly in 1080p (iTunes downloads are 720p).
2) File size. Already huge at 720p. 1080p was almost 8 GB

If enough people want 1080p, we`ll offer it as a separate FREE upgrade in the near future (see contact information below to get on our list), but it`s not going to work well for 99% of app store users at this time. Thanks!
