Auto Create Paragraph is a free and easy to use InDesifn script that will automatically create and assign paragraph and character styles to text, based on their formatting, using as few styles as possible.
By doing all of this automatically it will make it easier for you to convert a messy InDesign document into something useful!

Installation: Open the "Scripts" panel in InDesign, select the "User" folder, select "Reveal in Finder" from the drop-down menu on the top right side. Copy the Auto Create Paragraph script to the "Scripts Panel" folder in the opened window.
